I was honoured to join Melanie Oliveiro on CNA938’s Made in SG, where we spoke about the evolution of Fuchsia Lane and the vision behind Nanyang Fashion.
My Industrial Design training at NUS and experience in Milan taught me that true luxury is often invisible — it lies in intention, in thoughtfulness, and in the way a garment is felt before it is seen. The curve of a collar, the weight of a lining, the way a silhouette supports confidence without declaring itself. These quiet details guide every creation in our atelier, where heritage and innovation are stitched into modern elegance.
We also shared our next chapter — the Nanyang Fashion Gallery: a cultural space to honour Southeast Asian art forms, nurture artisans, and build a design movement rooted in the spirit of our region.
As Nanyang citizens, we deserve our own design and fashion language on the global stage — one shaped by our history, our light, and our voice.
